Building forts and tunnels are big time activities in the Crossett household. Usually they are done by the boys but for more complicated designs Daddy has to be consulted. Thank goodness there are endless supplies of blankets to help erect the walls.
Of course, all the animals get special access into the fort. No grown up allowed.

Happiest Place on Earth
Long weekend, we decided to stuff sleeping babies into the SUV and trek on down Highway 5. About the time the cows woke up, so did our babies. Bewildered they asked where we were going and we told them Mickey Mouse wanted to have a play date. I cannot tell you how excited they were!
We spent two days (sort of) in the park and I now know that:
a. Baby doesn't mind waiting in any line, because he expects that he will be carried the whole time
b. What we don't think of as rides (i.e. the horse and buggy around Main Street) is a big attraction to little boys
c. Tea cups are awesome
d. Pirate Island is awesome
e. Give Scrumpy a stage and he will perform.
This lucky little boy got to dance with Phineas and Ferb and was chosen for the Jedi training academy. I guess Princess teas are nowhere close to a reality for me.
